| Shivpuri is a city in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh.It was formerly known as Sipri.Shivpuri's dense forests were the hunting grounds of the Mughal emperors. Important towns in the district are Badarwas, Karera, Khaniyadhana, Kolaras, Narwar and Pichhore.Shivpuri District formed Narwar District of the erstwhile princely state of Gwalior. |
