National Institute of Technology, Agartala was previously known as Tripura Engineering College.The National Institute of Technology was established in 1965 with the three traditional branches of Civil, Electrical and Mechanical Engineering.
The campus of the National Institute of Technology is spread over an area of 335 acres.The Institute is located on a picturesque site, which is 4 k.m off National Highway (NH-44) and about 20 K.M. away from the capital city, Agartala.
