Gurukul Kangri University is a Deemed University which is located in Haridwar Uttarakhand. Gurukul Kangri Vishwavidyalaya was founded in March 4, 1902 by Swami Shraddhananda. He was a member of the Arya Samaj. Gurukul Kangri University was accorded a Deemed University Status in 1962 by University Grants Commission.
Gurukul Kangri University is the bank of Ganges at a distance of about 6 km. from Hardwar and about 200 km. from Delhi. Gurukul Kangri University's are Chancellor Mr. S. K. Sharma and Vice-Chancellor Prof. S. Kumar.
